What is the BVMW and the Future Day?
The BVMW is Germany’s leading association for small and medium-sized enterprises, founded in 1975 and headquartered in Berlin. It supports SMEs through policy advocacy, on-the-ground member services and international business development. On the ground, BVMW operates ~300 regional offices across Germany and an international network of 85 foreign offices, organizing 2,000+ events per year, the most important event is the BVMW Future Day 2026. The BVMW Future Day (Zukunftstag Mittelstand) is the flagship annual gathering where SMEs, innovators, and institutions meet, learn, and do business.
